Emily M. Reidsma is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, as well as a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and School Counseling from Spring Arbor University, where she graduated in 2023.
Emily has experience working with children, teens, and adults, providing personalized support to help clients navigate a wide range of challenges. Her clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and eating disorders. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a research-based approach to treating trauma and other emotional difficulties.
Emily is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
