ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Understanding oneself at all levels can lead to positive change.
My name is Isaiah and I am a limited licensed MSW practitioner residing in the Grand Rapids area. I am an alumni of Grand Valley State University where I graduated with my B.S. in Psychology while double-majoring in Philosophy. Upon completion of my B.S. in Psychology, I continued on and graduated with my Masters of Social Work (MSW) also from GVSU.
I am passionate about all things mental health and it is my mission to create a welcoming environment where each and every person can be their authentic self free of worry or judgment. Inclusivity and diversity are two aspects of my practice that are important and two aspects that are a strong focus of mine. Along with incorporating evidence-based practices, I integrate holistic approaches such as mindfulness mediation and philosophy.
Some of my prior clinical experience involves diagnosing and treating symptoms related to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I have worked with various populations that include adults, individuals struggling with both acute and chronic homelessness, and individuals that struggle with SPMI (serious and persistent mental illness).
It is my goal to work with you and create a plan that works for you.
