Hello! Welcome to the Counseling Center of West Michigan. People seek supportive services for many reasons, whatever your reason is I will work with you in identifying what your needs may be and assist you in working towards your goal. I have 25 years of experience in many areas of the social work field. First and foremost, most of my career has been in the school setting. I have also had experience in the community mental health setting and most recently in telehealth therapy in the public schools. My philosophy is simple I take each person for where they are in their own life journeys. I strive to provide a judgment-free zone in addition to an accepting atmosphere. The age group that I truly enjoy working with is from 3-26. Most of my experience has been in helping those who: may have a developmental delay; or learning differences; individuals who may need play therapy; individuals who have an IEP; or a 504 plan; individuals who struggle with behavioral issues; or perhaps individuals in a transition program. I am currently accepting clients and look forward to meeting you.
