ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Hello, my name is Jerry Kowalski and I have worked as a psychologist and psychotherapist for many years. Psychotherapy, in my mind, is a journey one takes along with me to discover ways to become the best version they can become. It can be relatively short or rather long depending on the person, their life experiences and ability to learn and implement change. Each individual child, adolescent, or adult is unique and requires different paths in the change process. My training and experiences are rather unique as well. Training and working in hospital settings allowed me to develop skills in neuropsychology, health psychology, and pain management. I have also worked extensively in outpatient settings where I have treated people with anxiety, depression, ADHD and even trauma. The psychiatrist Deepak Chopra wrote, “all great changes are preceded by chaos”. In my experience, how much chaos is highly variable. It is my sincere hope that I can join you in the journey I call psychotherapy.
