NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
Starting counseling is a brave and meaningful step toward becoming the version of you that you want to be. Maybe that means falling asleep peacefully at night without your mind racing. Maybe it’s figuring out how to have that tough-but-important conversation with someone close to you. Maybe it’s identifying the next right step when everything feels uncertain—or simply knowing something needs to change, even if you're not quite sure what. Whatever brought you here, you're not alone—
I bring a wide range of experience to my work, having provided counseling and clinical supervision in hospitals, schools, residential and outpatient settings, and in-home therapy. (Yes, that’s a lot of hats—I tend to wear a few at once!) Whether we’re meeting one-on-one or collaborating with your larger support system, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, trauma-informed care, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we’ll identify areas of stress or struggle, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and move through tough moments with more clarity and confidence.
A little about me: I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2016, with minors in Psychology and Sociology. My work focuses on supporting children, teens, and adults facing anxiety, depression, and life’s curveballs. One of the most rewarding parts of this work is watching my clients grow into their confidence and step into the lives they’ve been working toward.
My goal is to make therapy feel like a conversation, not a clinical checklist. We’ll laugh (when it’s needed), dig deep (when you’re ready), and always move at a pace that feels right for you.
So—welcome. You’re in the right place, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.
