NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Hello! I am Jessica Nunnery and I have been a counselor for three years, along with four years of prior work in child welfare. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma, abuse, and complex life stressors. I am especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate life transitions, as well as supporting concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationships.

My approach is person-centered, and I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I incorporate evidence-based strategies to help build emotional regulation, coping skills, and confidence, while also meeting each client where they are. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative, and I aim to walk alongside my clients as they work toward meaningful and lasting change.

I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University. I also hold a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Kuyper College and a Bachelor’s in Applied Science from Davenport University, where I played collegiate volleyball. My background in coaching and youth leadership has further shaped my ability to connect with and support teens and young adults in a relatable and encouraging way.

Outside of the workplace, I enjoy playing and watching volleyball, spending time with my family, taking my dogs for walks, playing games, and being on the water. I especially love the summer and enjoy trying new foods and recipes.

I look forward to meeting you!
