It takes two people to complete a story: one to speak and one to listen. Every story matters, and I consider it a humble privilege to engage in your story with you. We all struggle, and by sharing our pain we can heal and grow.

I integrate my education (MA - LPC), my professional experience (with adults, teens, kids, and families), and my personal experiences into the counseling relationship - with a focus on Narrative Therapy with CBT. Life has given me some insight into pain, death, loss, anxiety, and fear. And, as a husband and parent (of 7 children), I also have some insight into parenting, family challenges, and marriage.

I am a Bible-believing follower of Jesus Christ, and my spiritual beliefs strongly shape my worldview. There is no story, no shame, no amount of pain too heavy to be heard and cared for. Life is hard but good, and sometimes the good can be difficult to see when life feels overwhelming.

"I have learned now that while those who speak about one's miseries usually hurt, those who keep silence hurt more.” - C.S. Lewis
