ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hi, I’m Julie!
I work with adolescents (12+) and adults experiencing ADHD, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, parenting challenges, and relationship concerns. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and
practical, and I strive to create a supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and develop meaningful strategies that fit their unique lives. I am currently pursuing additional training in ADHD assessment
and treatment as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while continuing to expand my expertise in executive functioning, emotional regulation, and women’s health across the lifespan.
As a Korean adoptee, I have a special interest in working with adoptees and individuals exploring issues related to identity, belonging, culture, and family relationships. I am also passionate about supporting clients experiencing spiritual trauma, LGBTQ+ concerns, women’s issues, and the unique challenges that arise throughout different stages of life. My experience in adolescent treatment centers, college counseling services, community mental health, and outpatient counseling has allowed me to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of emotional and relational concerns.
I believe clients are the experts on their own lives and work collaboratively with each person to develop an approach that reflects their unique goals, values, and strengths. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.
When I'm not working with clients, you can often find me with a good book, out on a training run, enjoying a cup of coffee, or spending quality time with my family.
