Welcome! I would love the opportunity to meet with you. Mental Health is my passion, and I

view it as an honor to have others share their stories with me. Whether you are experiencing stress,

anxiety, depression, the effects of trauma, relationship problems, life transitions, or other stressors, my hope is to provide a safe and warm environment to address your needs. I have a laid-back style and I believe in a strengths-based, client-centered approach. Together, we can find ways to manage and experience emotions, to address negative thoughts and to make changes to behaviors that are getting in the way of your goals.

I have been working in the mental health field for over 12 years, with the majority of them

occurring within the context of therapy. Through this experience, I have had the privilege of working on many needs, including life transitions, relationship stressors, grief and loss, environmental stressors, chronic illnesses, concerns with body image and spiritual trauma. I have experience in working with a variety of diagnoses, including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Bipolar disorders, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. I have training and experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills, Motivational Interviewing and Crisis Intervention. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. While these models give me a foundation of knowledge and skills to work with, it will be important for us to work together to incorporate them into your individual needs. I look forward to working with you!
