Kasey Sauder, MA, LPC

Welcome to the Counseling Center of West Michigan. I’m Kasey Sauder. I am a former teacher, and have worked in the mental health field since completing my Masters in Counseling from Central Michigan University in 2017. I have worked extensively with children and adolescents, supporting them on a wide range of issues. My goal is to create an environment and relationship where they can work through some of the difficult challenges that life throws our way, and grow in their ability to be resilient.

My specialties are trauma and grief and loss, and I am certified in Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I have spent my entire career working with children and teens, and I think they can contribute so much to their own therapy, but when challenges arise, it is helpful to have an unbiased ear to allow them to sort out their big feelings and difficult emotions.
