NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
The challenges in life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, lonely, depressed, anxious, and many other emotions. Sharing your story takes courage.
I strive to provide clients with a safe and nonjudgmental environment to process life’s stressors, enhance current strengths, and explore skills to improve communication, boundaries, healthy coping skills, and resilience.
I take a relational approach to therapy, meaning I believe that feeling truly seen, heard, and understood is an important part of healing. I value creating a genuine, trusting relationship with my clients where you can feel safe being your authentic self.
I earned my Bachelor’s in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and my Master’s in Social Work from the Ohio State University. I am skilled at CBT, brief solution focused therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and am DBT informed.
I have over a decade of experience in providing mental health care in inpatient, partial hospitalization, outpatient, and primary care settings. I have worked with individuals of all ages who have struggled with adjustment, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, perinatal mood disorders, bipolar and psychotic disorders, personality disorders, self harm, and suicidal thoughts.
I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, genders, and sexual orientations. I look forward to working with you!
