Hello and welcome! My name Keshia Maybee and I am so happy you are taking this step in your mental health journey. You matter and your emotional and mental health is so important because YOU matter.

My favorite thing about being a counselor is coming alongside people, empowering them to see their worth, and providing tools to each client that will champion growth. Life is all about growth and I love that humans have the ability to learn and grow. It is truly an honor to be involved in that process with you.

I have been in the mental health field since 2009 and counseling since 2011. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then went on to graduate with a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling.

My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults for anxiety, depression, school-related concerns, relational concerns, women’s concerns, parenting struggles, self-esteem issues, and spiritual/faith concerns. My approach is eclectic and includes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. I call myself a “toolbox” counselor because along with empathy and active listening, my goal is to provide you with applicable tools that you can utilize immediately.

I look forward to working with you as you begin this next step in your journey.
