ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hello! Welcome to Counseling Center West Michigan. My name is Kim Crawford, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I will meet you where you are at in your healing and growth process to help you reach your own personal goals. I have worked as a school counselor, home-based therapist, and crisis clinician.
I have broad experience working with developmental and behavior issues, disability, family conflict, blended families, educational challenges, grief and loss, anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, and gender identity.
I am a member of West Michigan Counseling Association and Counselors for Social Justice. I strive for professional development and seek opportunities for growth. I am currently enrolled in NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model) advanced clinical training to address complex trauma.
I am a solution-focused, resourceful, and creative therapist. I use experiential techniques like art, music, and play therapy as well as evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, Family Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I will provide a strength-based and person-centered safe space for you. I believe that healing is a Practice, something that can be worked toward every day. I look forward to meeting you to discuss how I may be able to help you or your child in the healing practice.
