ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hello and welcome! My goal is to create a safe space for you to discuss your needs and together we will work toward your goals. My practice is client-centered and also informed by DBT, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, and mindfulness. I’m here to help you work on healing trauma, complications of grief, and improving communication skills.
After graduating from Hope College with my B.A. in Psychology/Sociology and a Master's in Social Work (MSW) degree from Michigan State University, I have done case management for community corrections, supportive housing, and for persons with high medical needs. I’ve also worked as a therapist in an inpatient psychiatric hospital and worked for several years as a hospice social worker. I’ve also been trained in EMDR and am working toward EMDRIA certification. I enjoy playing the flute in the community and at church, and also enjoy singing and playing the piano.
I am looking forward to meeting you and collaborating with you in finding new and creative ways to resolve whatever issue you might bring in, and to live more freely and abundantly.
