ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

Ever since I can remember, strangers or people I barely knew would confide in me about their life struggles or stories. I didn’t fully understand this gift at the time, but I now see how it guided me toward this career, and I am so grateful.

I graduated from nursing school in 2015 and went on to earn my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Michigan State University in 2021, where I also became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). While working as a nurse practitioner, I found myself especially drawn to the mental health aspects of care and the meaningful connections built during those visits. That passion led me to return to Michigan State University to complete my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certificate.

I believe one of my greatest strengths is being a genuine listener. I take time to understand each person’s story and strive to create a space where patients feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I truly care about my patients on a personal level and value building meaningful, collaborative relationships as part of the treatment process.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three young children. As a family, we love being outdoors whenever possible. I also enjoy reading and finding small moments of calm in the midst of everyday life. I am so excited to meet you and look forward to walking beside you throughout your mental health journey.
