ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
If you are constantly managing daily anxiety, trying to handle ADHD, or dealing with the exhausting reality of a chronic illness, it probably feels like you’re just running on empty and stuck in survival mode. It is incredibly heavy, and it’s completely normal to feel trapped by negative thinking or mindsets that just aren't helping you anymore. You don’t need a therapist who is just going to hand you a rigid list of generic coping skills—you need someone to team up with.
My approach is built on a rich foundation of diverse human experiences. After earning my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) through Walden University, I spent time working as a case manager for teenage immigration services and caring for seniors in AFC homes with needs ranging from autism to severe mental illness. I also spent significant time studying at a counseling and ministry school in Mexico, alongside other international work.
These experiences taught me how to bring a steady, calm composure and deep cultural understanding to our sessions. Together, we will use active listening to safely look ahead and prepare you for the moments that feel the most overwhelming. We won't use cookie-cutter fixes. Instead, we’ll work side-by-side to understand your unique strengths, shift those unhealthy mindsets, and figure out what actually works for your real, daily life. My goal is to give you a warm, down-to-earth space where you feel genuinely heard and supported as you move from simply getting by to truly thriving.
As a clinical intern in an outpatient setting, I work under the close supervision of Sarah Jongsma, LMSW. Whether you are a young adult trying to find your footing or a senior navigating life's later chapters, I'm here to help you build a life that feels manageable, authentic, and yours.
