ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
Hello and welcome! My name is Paige Capel. I am passionate about helping individuals feel safe, seen, and empowered to engage with life’s challenges in a healthy way.
I am a licensed clinical social worker. Back in 2015, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Calvin College, then went on to get my Master’s degree in Social Work from Western Michigan University in 2020. For the past 4 years, I have worked as a school social worker advocating for students' mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. I was able to support a variety of students experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, ODD, life transitions, and so on.
My approach to therapy is laidback and collaborative. I strive to create a space that feels safe and comfortable for any client that walks through my door. I like to tap into several different therapies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-centered therapy. While I will certainly utilize my expertise in these therapies, you know yourself best. Ultimately, my goal is to collaborate with you to create a plan that addresses your needs and desires.
I look forward to getting to know you and walking alongside you as you embark on this journey of self-growth.
