ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS

My name is Rexel Taylor, and I was born in the South and raised all of this country. Coming from a large blended family with 13 siblings, I learned early on the importance of understanding different perspectives and finding connection through chaos. Over the years, I’ve called 13 different states home, from the deep South to as far north as New York, each one teaching me something new about people, resilience, and the many ways we all strive to belong.

Before becoming a counselor, I served a tour in Afghanistan during my time in the Army. That experience shaped my understanding of courage, struggle, and the quiet battles we often fight within ourselves. Like many others, I lost my job during COVID-19. But in that moment of uncertainty, I found a new mission: to help others navigate their own challenges and discover hope again.

Today, instead of fighting wars overseas, I help people fight the wars within, the ones waged in the mind and heart. I believe that with hope, unconditional care, and a safe space for honest self-exploration, healing and victory are possible. My goal is to help you see that no matter what you’ve been through, you are capable of growth, peace, and change.
