Sara DeWitt, LPC, graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Counseling. She received a Bachelor of Arts and Humanities from Grand Valley State University. Her major was English and minor was Elementary Teaching. She’s had experience working with youth in both the classroom environment as well as the counseling environment. Working as a private practice counselor with youth has been an enjoyable experience. Her passion for children began when she was in high school. There, she participated in a circle of friends club in which she was
involved with caring for the social/emotional needs of a physically and mentally disabled youth.
When not involved with counseling or teaching, she enjoys long walks, reading, playing piano, or interacting with friends. Also, she loves playing fetch with her puppy, a white Schnauzer named Lacey.
