I’m glad you’re here! I firmly believe that everyone should engage in therapy at some point in their life. Engaging in therapy does not mean that something is wrong with you; it means that you have the strength to recognize that you do not need to handle everything on your own. I am not here to tell you what the answers are, but I am here to walk alongside you as you work through life’s challenges no matter how big or small they may seem.
My main passions are working with individuals dealing with: anxiety, life transitions, chronic illness, and boundaries/healthy relationships. My approach is relational, laid back, and person-centered. I utilize evidence-based practices to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).Â
I graduated with my bachelor’s in social work from Michigan State University then went on to complete my master’s in social work from the University of Michigan in 2017. My professional experience comes from the settings of a crisis center, a psychiatric hospital, the emergency department, and primary care. I have experience working with individuals from the ages of five to ninety years old. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dogs, traveling to explore national parks, cooking/baking, and reading.
