NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS
I’m glad you’re here! I firmly believe that everyone should engage in therapy at some point in their life. Engaging in therapy does not mean that something is wrong with you; it means that you have the strength to recognize that you do not need to handle everything on your own. I am not here to tell you what the answers are, but I am here to walk alongside you as you work through life’s challenges no matter how big or small they may seem.
My main passions are working with individuals dealing with: anxiety, life transitions, chronic illness, and boundaries/healthy relationships. My approach is relational, laid back, and person-centered. I primarily work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) lens but also utilize other modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
I graduated with my bachelor’s in social work from Michigan State University then went on to complete my master’s in social work from the University of Michigan in 2017. I have professional experience in a crisis center, an emergency department, a psychiatric hospital, and a primary care office working with individuals throughout the lifespan.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dogs, traveling to explore national parks, cooking/baking, and reading. I am available during the day on Fridays only.
