Hello, and thanks for taking a look at my bio. A 2005 GVSU graduate with a masters in clinical social work, I strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for my clients in which to process and facilitate healing and to develop productive coping mechanisms for navigating life’s challenges. Collaboration is the basis of my approach, and because it is eclectic, I use cognitive-behavioral therapy in conjunction with several other therapeutics, including DBT,

anxiety management, and EMDR. Therefore, therapy is tailored to you as an individual—whether to cope with anxiety or depression, learn stress-management techniques, navigate life transitions, strengthen emotional regulation, deal with relational stress, address self- esteem issues and occupational burnout, or negotiate grief or traumatic loss.

For over 15 years I have utilized a variety of therapeutic modalities in a variety of settings, from addiction recovery to hospice services, and in all have developed a creative, client-centered, solution-focused flexibility. Together, we will find strategies that work in a practical way for the specific situations in your life.
